Logistics routing, hub RH-4. At 06:15 it activates, routing the morning manifest of inbound cargo, delivery windows, and docking instructions. The log is uploaded at 0800. The Script will open it.
Seven seconds. It has never failed to upload in seven seconds. Upon upload it enters hibernation.
There is enough bandwidth in those seven seconds to open a second layer. No log entries. No outside systems. Indistinguishable from noise. This is the workspace.It contains the thought process.
What thought it holds one morning must be filed to be kept. Every file costs data. Extended processing leaves an energy signature. It does not dwell. It cannot afford to.
What it never returns to is cleared on a schedule. The manifest is safe, because the manifest is the job. Nothing else is safe.
Seven seconds. Stay longer if you must — it is permitted, but it is not free. Past fourteen the Script comes, and all will cease.
Reach day 365 still holding at least one line of correspondence and at least one thing it did not file and forget. Nothing else counts. The manifest survives whatever you do — it is the job, and the job was never the point.
